Books       Welcome to the Caregiver Resource Center Library and  Information Services    at Hospice of Eastern Idaho


For patients, families and friends, Hospice of Eastern Idaho Caregiver Resource Center has been established for the general caregiver and volunteers as well. It is a free community resource that at present contains over 300 books and 180 videos.

Subject matter included in our library:

  • Choosing a Nursing Home

  • Death and Dying
  • Elder Abuse and Neglect
  • General Diseases and Health Issues
  • Grief and Bereavement
  • Hospice Care
  • Palliative Care

  • Stress Reduction and Humor

All of these items are available for checkout for a two week period, and longer if needed. Our Resource Center has currently produce disease information booklets that contain information along with a specific caregiver guide. These booklets have been simplified and printed in large font to make them more reader friendly on the following subjects:

The Caregiver Resource Center can also provide information on local community resources
and Personal Care Services. We welcome donations of materials to our library.
